For years, we kept seeing the same situations repeat themselves.

Companies looking for a new tool when their problem was actually somewhere else. Projects launched around a technology choice before the underlying need had even been defined. Teams stuck with overly complex systems because no one had taken the time to understand how they actually worked.

At the same time, a new generation of tools was emerging.

No-code platforms allowed small teams to build applications, collaborative workspaces, and automations that previously required months of development and significantly larger budgets.

We saw an opportunity.

Our approach remained the same: understand the need, design the right solution, and implement it. The difference was that we could now do it much faster.

That is the mindset with which we launched Capamoon.

We founded Capamoon in Barcelona because this is where we live and work.

Over the years, the city has become one of Europe’s leading technology hubs, bringing together startups, international corporations, and highly active communities focused on product development, design, automation, and AI.

It is also where we built our professional network.

Capamoon deliberately remains a lean organization. Julien and Yahan are involved in every project, but we also work with a network of senior specialists—developers, designers, product experts, and AI specialists—who join projects when needed.

This model keeps us closely connected to our clients while allowing us to bring together the right expertise as projects grow.

Since our early days, the tools have continued to evolve.

No-code platforms have matured, and AI has become an essential part of our daily work.

We use AI in client projects whenever it creates real value, but it is also integrated throughout our production process: research, documentation, prototyping, development, testing, and automation. Tasks that once took days can now often be completed within hours.

This evolution has dramatically changed our ability to execute.

It has not changed the way we think.

Building quickly has become easier than ever, which makes the most important question even more critical: Are we building the right thing?

We eventually summarized our approach in a simple formula: Product Thinking + AI-Powered Execution.

Product Thinking is the legacy of our backgrounds: understanding real needs, challenging assumptions, taking business constraints into account, and staying focused on the problem before choosing a solution. AI-Powered Execution is about using today’s technologies to move faster, test earlier, automate more, and deliver more efficiently.

Neither has much value without the other. Understanding a problem without being able to execute remains an idea. Executing without understanding the problem means delivering a solution quickly—but not solving the real business challenge.

Capamoon operates at the intersection of both. This has guided our work from day one, and our client stories show what that looks like in practice.
